Low Cost Broadband
Broadband providers have a number of different ways of providing cheap low cost broadband packages. Normally a low cost broadband package will have a relatively low line speed of just 1Mb or maybe 2Mb. If a Low cost broadband packages is not restricted on speed it will normally have a download limit, a restriction on the amount of data that you can download per month. It is possible to have a low cost broadband package with unlimited downloads, but the speed is usually restricted down to 1 or 2Mb. Recently Eclipse introduced a new way of offering fast, unlimited low cost broadband. Eclipse have a low cost broadband package that offers a fast 8Mb broadband connection with no download limits at off peak times. This means that between the hours of midnight and 6pm you can download as much as you like, which is great for people who download films overnight. At all other times a download limit applies, albeit a very generous download limit.
